KappTec™ solders are high temperature, high strength, general purpose Cadmium-Silver solders for all solderable metals except Aluminum. They are highly recommended for Stainless Steel to Stainless Steel and Stainless Steel to Copper soldering. These alloys are outstanding in high vibration and high stress situations. Their high electrical conductivity versus other solders makes them an excellent choice for electrical applications. NOTE: Cadmium is a health hazard. See SDS for precautions and protections. Cadmium solders should NOT be used for food or potable water applications.
