60Sn/40Zn Lead-Free Spray Wire
KappAloy40™ is a Tin-Zinc spray wire used to build up and repair Galvanized surfaces, as well as for coating the ends of capacitors and other electronic parts. The solder is used extensively for large capacitors in hostile environments to provide a hermetic seal, EMF/EMI protection, and corrosion resistance. The high Tin content creates an easily solderable surface, and the high Zinc content provides substantial oxidation resistance. KappAloy40™ displays higher temperature and tensile strength compared to KappAloy9™ and KappAloy15™.
Applications
- Build up and repair Galvanized surfaces
- Zinc countertops
