There are three Kapp Alloy solder brands made primarily of Tin and Lead.
Kapp GalvRepair™
Economical solders for repairing and joining most metals including Aluminum and Cast Iron. These solders have been the standard for Cast Iron and Galvanized surface repair for over 60 years.
KappElectricEuetectic™
Cost effective eutectic electrical/electronic solder where Lead is permissible. KappEE™ is composed of 62% Tin / 36% Lead / 2% Silver. Silver content increases the strength and vibration resistance of the joint in higher stress applications.
KappLead™
KappLead™ solders provide economical joints to most electronic applications. Kapp Alloy uses only 99.999% pure virgin Lead, providing outstanding flow and consistency. Our high purity solders and fluxes result in fewer failed parts and stronger, more ductile joints. KappLead40™ is the Stained Glass industry standard for sensitive restorations and new installations.
