SAC387 solid solder wire (1/32" / 0.8mm diameter, 1/2 lb spool) is a lead-free, cadmium-free alloy composed of 95.5% Sn, 3.8% Ag, and 0.7% Cu. NSF compliant and potable water safe, it melts at 426°F / 219°C, producing strong, ductile joints on copper, brass, and stainless steel with tensile strengths up to 7,511 psi and high vibration tolerance. It's also widely used in electronics for wave soldering, selective soldering, and SMT applications where reliable, corrosion-resistant joints are required.
