Kapp Alloy's SAC387 solid solder wire is a lead-free, cadmium-free, NSF compliant alloy made from 95.5% Sn, 3.8% Ag, and 0.7% Cu. This 1/16" (1.6mm) diameter, 1/2 lb spool melts at just 426°F / 219°C, making it a reliable choice for copper, brass, and stainless steel joints in potable water applications. With tensile strength up to 7,511 psi and high tolerance to vibration and stress, it also performs well in wave soldering, selective soldering, SMT, and high-performance electronics applications.
