Kapp Comet Flux™

Kapp Comet flux has been designed specifically for soldering all common metals except aluminum. Comet flux is an activated liquid flux, a mixture of inorganic salts in water, with approximately 35-40% active ingredients.

Benefits and Uses

Highly recommended for use with silver-solders on stainless steel . Excellent for use with all solders and metals other than aluminum when temperature requirements are between 350°F - 550°F. Excellent wetting properties.

Effective fluxing action on metal surfaces is 350°F- 550°F. NOTE: COMET FLUX WILL CHAR AT TEMPERATURES EXCEEDING 550°F. Copper-Bond Flux is appropriate for higher temperature ranges on non-aluminum.

Residue is slightly corrosive, and easily removed with hot water rinse.
